I preach authenticity as the most important part of social impact messaging, so I decided to take a moment to introduce the person behind the business -
I founded Paritas Narrativa Consulting, but it wasn't a straight line to where I am now. It started with my time as a Peace Corps Volunteer, where I learned to listen to the people I served. It continued in the classroom, where, as an English teacher, I taught the power of a well-told story.
When I'm off the clock, you can usually find me with my two favorite partners: my wife, a phenomenal Army veteran who can build anything, and our two-year-old puppy who would live in the water if she could.
I'm a passionate gardener and, not to brag, but I grow over 20 varieties of peppers! This hobby that has taught me a lot about patience and the importance of nurturing growth.
I have a love for language, too. Before any travelling, I spend a few months learning each country's official language. To me, a willingness to understand the world on its own terms is the first step toward genuine connection - the same approach I bring to my clients. I value learning and understanding an organization's mission from the ground up to help them tell their story with meaningfully and with maximum impact.
There are so many organizations on the front lines of building a better world, and I aim to partner with them, telling one powerful story after another. It’s what drives me, both personally and professionally.
